About Elysian Day
Elysian Day is an archival classic, characterised by its parade of exuberantly retro-infused blooms. The design first appeared in a pattern book dating from the late 1910s or early 1920s and was originally used in both dress and furnishing fabrics.
Elysian Day is part of the Classic Silk Collection by Liberty, offering fresh versions of some of our most well-loved designs (including Art Nouveau, paisleys, landscapes and ditsy florals), reworked and recoloured for an opulent and yet utterly modern approach to iconic Liberty silks.
The design is printed by experts in Italy onto 16 momme Belgravia silk satin – a fabric prized for its lustrous drape and fluidity, along with its luminously high-shine surface.
